Whose Line Is It Anyway?
Whose line is it anyway::A tribute to Cherie

Hey, and welcome to the place we fanwriter's like to call a harem. What it is, is that here I will ramble about my favorite fictional characters, both real and animated alike. Some I adore for many reasons, others for few, some I just admire - even respect! Hard to believe, eh? Well, its true, and now I shall begin my rambling. I guess you could say this page is rated "PG", but not that I'll be saying anything bad or perverted. I'm not like that, so just sit back and indulge yourself on the guys I've come to adore and admire! ^_^

Sesshomaru

#1Sesshomaru - (From the anime, InuYasha, portrayed by David Kaye) At first, I did not like Sesshomaru at all, because I thought he just took up time and space on the show, but then I became interested upon seeing the episode in which he saves Rin! Slowly but surely, I became an avid fangirl to that which is fondly known as Fluffy, and I don't think I'll ever get tired of him. Yeah sure he's cold-hearted, doesn't say much to anybody, and really only wants to be better than everyone else, but by saving Rin he proves that he does have a soft interior! For those who have no clue about this guy, I shall attempt to explain briefly: Sesshomaru is InuYasha's older half-brother who happens to be a full demon, whereas, InuYasha is only half-demon, so you'd think Sesshomaru'd have no problem and just think himself the best. Wrong. Upon the death of their father, two swords were left as the inheritance to his two sons; the Tetsusaiga which was given to InuYasha, and the Tenseiga was passed on to Sesshomaru. Cool right? Not cool for Sesshomaru. Tenseiga is a sword that does not, I repeat does not cut, and he thinks it is useless to him. Meanwhile, the Tetsusaiga is a sword that can kill one hundred demons in one sweep, so Sesshomaru wants to get his claws on it. lol But he's been unable to permanently, and has come to terms that his heirloom sword could be useful. So why do I love Sesshomaru so much as I do? Duh! Look at him! lol Love the hair, love the attitude, and love the protectiveness of Rin, not to mention I love the masterful job David Kaye did in providing the English voice for dear Fluffy. Yessss....Sessy takes the cake! He has the best lines too!

Tsume

#2 Tsume - (From the anime Wolf's Rain, portrayed by Crispin Freeman) At the time, I was only interested in a selective few anime shows, but then I stumbled upon this one after InuYasha on a boring Saturday night. I watched, and I was stunned by the amazing artwork, not to mention this guy! Call me crazy, but I dig him.lol Not quite the outfit I'd picture any guy in for that matter, but he is an exception, because that's what caught my attention second. What was first, you ask? The voice. I recognized it from another anime character, Amon of Witch Hunter Robin, and I immediately said I'd like the guy simply because of that amazing voice! I admit though, Tsume is a total jerk, literally hates people, and needs an attitude adjustment, but for those who have watched the show, or have read a good amount of fiction about him, would know that he does in fact have a soft spot for little Toboe, whom he also saved. (Heh, catchin' a pattern yet here?) I can't really explain what it is that attracts me so much to him, besides the voice and utter hot guy-ness, maybe its just his bad boy image.lol You know, cuz I'm such a good girl and...yeah. ^_^ Congrats, Tsume! You made it to my top five! (Tsume) Shut up.

Yami

#3 Yami - (From the anime, Yu Gi Oh!, portrayed by Dan Green) Yami is the first ever animated guy I really fell for. Call me nuts, call me loopy, but he's what I came across one afternoon when I was bored. I saw this guy in black, spiky hair, and superbly deep voice. Can you really blame me, people? lol And of course I just had to get jealous of that creampuff he was walkin' around with, and you know, I instantly thought that she was his girlfriend, but then I watched for a couple minutes and found out she was only tagging along, and Yami wanted her gone. He shoulda called me and I would've gotten rid of her quick! ^_~ Anyway, over time I have come to not like YGO! much anymore since the dub has been butchered by 4Kids, but I still love Yami, and always will. *sigh* You'll always hold a special place with me, sweetie! And unlike the first two guys above, Yami is actually social! He comes out when Yugi calls him, he's friendly, he's brave, and so freakin' smart! What kind of girl would not fall for an ancient pharaoh resurrected in an adorable little boy? I'm not one of those unfortunate few! lol

Daniel Jackson

#4 Daniel Jackson - (From the Sci Fi series, Stargate SG 1, portrayed by Michael Shanks) Much like Sesshomaru, I didn't care for Daniel too much and thought he took up space. But it wasn't until his "death" in the series that I started watching, since I had actually never heard of it until I came home one night and my parents were watching it. How convenient too that the episode I jumped in was the one directly after Daniel "died"? Quite, I'd say. But that gave me time to appreciate the show a bit without becoming an avid fangirl to him earlier in the series, because many a fan deserted the show after his exit and Jonas came to replace him. I was quite happy with Jonas, but when I really started getting into the show, I began to grow attatched to Daniel and his impact on everyone, then I realized those eyes. lol Have you ever seen something so beautiful? Though they can't quite compete with someone else's, they definately make my top ten list! Michael Shanks really does a terrific job in acting out his character too, giving the audience a thrill, a laugh, or a good cry every time he's on screen. So thanks Daniel / Michael, and keep up the good looks. ^_~

InuYasha

#5 InuYasha - (From the anime, InuYasha, portrayed by Richard Cox) After hearing all the yap about some cute cartoon guy with doggie ears, I finally gave in and decided to watch this constantly spoken of anime, and once I did, I of course instantly fell in love with him! I mean, come on, what's not to love about the guy? Sure he's a bit insesitive, is still hung up over Kikyo, and could use a bit of an attitude adjustment, but his intentions are good hearted and I think he's a great character all around. He thinks saving Kagome is a waste of time...HA! I think otherwise.lol All that coming out of nowhere, screams of despair, and fitful arguments is what keeps us avid fangirls extremely interested in him! As I mentioned earlier in Sesshomaru's thing, he and his brother are big rivals, and won't stop til the other is dead, or worshipping the ground they walk on...oo, I'd love to see that! Oh and those ears, gotta tweak 'em! Plus, I'd just love to run up and hug him, never letting go, and then steal Tetsusaiga to give to Sessy. He he...I'm so devious...

Joey

#6 Joey - (From the anime, Yu Gi Oh!, portrayed by Wayne Grayson) Again, I considered Joey to be a waste of time, because at the time when I was becoming interested in the show, I only wanted to see Yami, instead this blonde cutie happened to be on during that particular weekend. Lucky me, eh? lol What really got me hooked on him is the relationship he has with his little sister, Serenity, who was going blind, Joey got the money himself to pay for her operation, and thanks to him, she can see again. If that's not the kind of guy any girl would go for, I pity the poor soul who has turned against all good things in the world. lol Let's see...he's funny, he flirts with Mai when he doesn't even realize it, is becoming quite the duelist, great friend, somethin' of a hotshot, and is incredibly defensive of the people he's close to. *coughMaicough* Also, that blonde hair! Dontcha just wanna run your fingers through it and say "What kind of conditioner you use, Joey?"? I do! Heh, and of course, you may have noticed on the main page I have a delightful little badge that says I'm married to him. *holds up plastic wedding ring* Yep, goin' on a whole year! *sniff* Don't forget our anniversary, honey!

Faramir

#7 Faramir - (From the trilogy, The Lord of the Rings, portrayed by David Wenham) Yet another poor soul I did not care for upon "meeting" them in their opening scene. Of course, most know that the vibe Faramir gives off in the TT isn't accurate, according to the book, and he's actually a very nice guy who wants nothing to do with the ring. So, after discovering that, I started to admire him, and then I learned of his relationship with Eowyn in the books, and said: Yat! She's off of Aragorn's back and she's chasin' the right guy! So, all in all I was quite happy for him and I can't wait until the EE of RotK comes out, because you can rest assured that I'll be watching the Starry Mantle scene over and over! Plus, David Wenham did a spectacular job in bringing the character to life, making him look super cool in the process, with that Robin Hood image and all.lol All he would need is an evil Prince John, Middle Earth would need a hefty tax increase, and of course, a theme song! I also love that in TT, he uses his bow and arrow constantly, then in RotK, he uses his sword. Gives us two views of the real hero of Middle Earth. ^_^ I love you, Faramir! Call me, baby! Oh wait...no phones over there...*laughs nervously* Send me a messenger from Ithilien then!

Vash the Stampede

#8 Vash the Stampede - (From the anime, Trigun, portrayed by Johnny Yong Bosh) When I finally got the chance to sit down and actually watch Trigun, I knew immediately that I'd fall for Vash. Take a good look at him. What is not to adore?! Blonde hair, red trench coat, serious exterior, and somewhat serious interior, but total softie who can't help but be funny, and uses a gun, but not to kill. He hates killing! So whenever he's involved in a gun fight, he intentionally aims for a place on the opposition's body that will not cause them death, unless they decide to be stupid and let it bleed profusely.lol Unfortunately for Vash though, is that he is a wanted criminal, and has the highest bounty on his head in the galaxy. But for us girls who have seen the episode Fifth Moon, we know that he's been "rigged" by a mortal enemy, and because of this, Vash has sudden times when his enemy triggers this uncontrollable power inside Vash, and the poor guy ends up going on a killing rampage of sorts, but not of his own will. So, our brave and adorable Vash sets out on the journey to get his revenge, and redeem himself to the world. What's not to love, girls?

Miroku

#9 Miroku - (From the anime, InuYasha, portrayed by Kirby Morrow) Yes, he's a pervert and is always trying to touch Sango's rear end, I can't help but love Miroku. He's so adorable! Big innocent eyes, sweet personality, and a great way to show off a curse.lol Burdened with the curse of his grandfather, Miroku has a hole in his right hand that he calls a Wind Tunnel (in the dub at least), and he can suck anything in his path into the void of that hole. However, in time that will eventually draw him in too, unless he's able to destroy Naraku (the main antagonist in the show), only then will the curse be lifted. Despite all this though, Miroku keeps up a good disposition, holds true to his friends, and is always being a little mischievious when alone with a girl. lol, goofy guy! Even with the downsides, he's still a great character, and eventually he's gonna get the girl of his dreams! Yes!! Go Sango, the ultimate woman!

I've drawn a picture of Miroku! Click the link below to see it!

Miroku with Sango

Jonas

#10 Jonas Quinn - (From the Sci Fi series, Stargate SG 1, portrayed by Corin Nemec) Like I said before, I came into the show shortly after Jonas joined the team, so I had no problem with him being there. Heck, why would I with that face? He's got that boyish innocence and good looks, know that? And all he's trying to do is make a difference, write his wrongs, and repay the debt he owes Daniel. I think he's cute, so if you have a problem, take it up with the creators, not me! In the short time he had in the show, he made a big impact and was just super cool in every way. Gotta love him ^_^ I support Jonas! ~ You don't? ~ Pity.

Darkwing Duck

#11 Darkwing Duck/Drake Mallard - (From the Disney animated series, Darkwing Duck, portrayed by Jim Cummings) I have always liked Darkwing, but not like that. I just admire him, maybe more in a fatherly sense, but that cool guy vibe he gives off to the audience makes us poor girls love him more. lol I adore the relationship he has with Gosalyn too, always protecting her, but she never listens. Still though, what a nice daddy to take her in from the orphanage, and even sing her lullabies! ^_^ Plus, he's got such great lines too; "I am the terror that flaps in the night! I am the stubborn steak sauce that refuses to come out of the bottle! I am Darkwing Duck!" As a kid growing up, this was my favorite cartoon, and I'd love coming home and watching him make a fool of himself. But then of course, times changed and it was taken off the air, at least on regular TV. It wasn't until late April that I got Toon Disney, and now I watch it every day! Yay! Go Darkwing! *waves pennant*

Magician of Black Chaos

#12 Magician of Black Chaos - (From the anime, Yu Gi Oh!) Ok, so he's not really a character, only a "monster", if you'd even call him that, from a card in the game, but still, he rocks! First time I saw him during Yami's duel with Pegasus, my mouth literally dropped open, and I kid you not, a chill ran up my spine I was in such awe. Its not that he's cute or whatever, he just drips with ultimate coolness! As the ultimate mage of the three I know exist in the game, he uses an even darker form of magic compared to the Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl, so that makes him even more powerful. So what really attracted me to him?...I guess I'd say that shadowy exterior, since he looks so mysterious and awesome all at the same time. He looks like he needs a friend! Well, he probably doesn't want one, but just the same, he seems like the type of character who's always been alone, and is used to doing things by himself. Not the kind of guy to ask for help, ya know? In light of this speculation, I've been working on a fic with him as a main character, and I'm slowly chipping away at that evil guy attitude, and softening him into a huggable teddy bear! ^_^ All in all, my favorite card in the entire game, and definately kicks major butt!

Aragorn

#13Aragorn - (From the trilogy, The Lord of the Rings, portrayed by Viggo Mortenson) I'm not one of those die-hard, do anything for, scream my head off Aragorn fangirls, I simply think he's an awesome character and deserves to be here in my little list. lol Once again, I didn't like him at first because he appears as a bad guy when he encounters Frodo and company. But then of course, we all find out who he is and how he saves our little hobbits from inescapable danger. How can a girl not love Aragorn? Viggo also did a terrific job with bringing his character to life in such a short time, and doing it with perfection. Gotta love that Elvish singing too.lol The swordplay is an extra plus!

Daffy Duck

#14 Daffy Duck - (From Warner Bros. , Looney Tunes, portrayed by Mel Blanc) For the longest time, I was in a debate about who my favorite Looney Tunes character was, and finally after going through a big Space Jam kick, I decided on Daffy! Why? Because I can relate to him. He's always wanting attention, or wants to be better than everyone else, but it always turns up on the short end. Plus, he cracks me up! If I could, I'd hug him and give him all the attention he wants because I love that little guy. ^_^ Yeah, not a lot to say here.lol

Nicholas Wolfwood

#15 Nicholas Wolfwood - (From the anime, Trigun, portrayed by Jeff Nimoy ) A skilled gunman who is actually a "priest" of sorts, Nicholas travels around with Vash in an effort to restore peace to their world, so that little kids won't suffer anymore. Sounds like a pretty nice guy? Yep, he is! And he's so funny just like Vash too! He carries around this giant cross thing, to symbolize his religious background, but actually this cross holds different types of guns in it, and is a gun in itself. Pretty handy. lol Plus he ain't too shabby at all... ... ... Ok, I'll admit it! He's cute!... ... ...Argh, fine! Hottie!! There, happy now? (Tsume) Shut up.

Wildwing Flashblade

#16 Wildwing Flashblade - (From the Disney Animated Series The Mighty Ducks, portrayed by Ian Zierring) Upon rekindling my love for TMD, I remembered just why Wildwing was my favorite. I love, no - ! I ADORE Wildwing! I love his voice, deep but innocent, and he acts so confidently after losing his best friend. I'm serious, he goes from like this guy without a clue, to being emotionally devastated, and then is this tough guy wearin' a mask and won't let anyone get the better of him. He's very protective too, guarding Nosedive at all times, and he pretends to not like Mallory, but all us fangirls know he has a thing for her! Mallory is like the duck for him, because she is just so cute and tough, what guy in their right mind wouldn't want her? But Wildwing definately won me over a long time ago, people. He he, yes, I have a thing for ducks. Too bad! lol
